Why does graham nash perform barefoot

How edgy! And then his singing was the most melodramatic overacting I've ever seen. Eyes closed, over the top hand gestures, and swaying. You really need to check it out to get the visual. Juxapossed against Crosby's stoic presence, it's truly a sight to behold.

After about the third song, I stopped feeling sorry for him and started to feel really uncomfortable. This guy is completely unaware. And he's ruining the music for me. Put some shoes on, and open your eyes when you sing. Graham Nash has a right to whatever idiosyncrasies he may have developed over 50 years of performing.

He once broke both legs in a boating accident and probably needs to do just what he does to feel grounded. Why did roadies switch out Stills' guitar amps after the opener? Has Nash always performed onstage barefoot? When Nash said , "When you've got ladies in the front row singing the words it's a good sign," after singing the hippie travelogue "Marrakesh Express," how many ladies was he referring to?

Where did Crosby get the deep gospel notes he belted out during "Long Time Gone," earning one of the biggest standing ovations of the night? Do Crosby, Stills and Nash keep up with whose songs gets more standing Os? How much weight has Crosby lost, because he looks great? Why does Stills only wear glasses on certain songs?

Who designed the cool, interlocking CSN logo on the banner hanging behind the band onstage? How much did that gorgeous white Gretsch Stills played on the few tunes he didn't use a Stratocaster cost? How many times did Nash and Stills rehearse their guitar-interplay interlude that was a highlight of the buoyant "Southern Cross"?

D oes music physically move Nash this much or are those rock star moves? Or is it a little of both? I was thinking about changing the setlist from our previous show, and how those changes might affect the mood of the audience. We got rain on the last day of the festival and I love the darkening sky above me.

Amy caught me in a moment of reflection on how the shows went. This was my second time playing at Bluesfest and what a great experience it was!
