We never really talked about acting. I call it getting acting on your shirt. It was great. A mile underneath the water, cut off from the rest of the world for ten months and then you surface again.
We see each other. We are closer than we were. Tom and I have become really close friends since Smallville ended. Now we talk all the time. There was no show like it.
I always like to say that in a non-sort of egotistical way, that Smallville started it all, for all these Superhero shows. I like to think that Smallville deserves that credit. You had a perfect storm of visual effects reaching a budget level that television then could meet.
