He loved to sail, play crib, can pickled beets, make hot salsa, fish, camp and canoe on the Peace River. Some of his favorite life experiences were living in a Teepee in Grand Forks, his Navy years, running his little store and brew house in Hudson Hope and especially teaching upgrading courses at Northern Lights College.
Art was predeceased by his first wife, Sharon and his sons Noah and Lloyd. Those left to remember and celebrate his life rich in love are his wife, Mary Ann and children Laurie [Mark], Jeremy [Gillian], Selena [Thomas], Jonah [Megan], Lucas [Morgan], 12 grandchildren, 3 great-granddaughters, his sister Marlene [Wayne], as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
